Soho A Gogo Festival 2019
“The dismal quarter of Soho seen under these changing glimpses, with its muddy ways, and slatternly passengers, and its lamps, which had never been extinguished or had been kindled afresh to combat this mournful reinvasion of darkness, seemed, in the lawyer’s eyes, like a district of some city in a nightmare.”
– Robert Louis Stevenson/Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
Returning for a second season at Regent Street Cinema, the Soho A Gogo Film Festival presents a collection of great films set in and featuring the notorious side of Soho life. From the strip clubs of the 60s and 70s seen in Secrets Of A Windmill Girl to comedic classic of Rattle Of A Simple Man and much more in between, Soho A Gogo Festival takes you to the fast-disappearing side of what has made Soho such a unique part of London life.
