At Regency Seniors, we curate classics from all eras of filmmaking each Monday afternoon for guests over 55 to enjoy. Tickets are subsidised at £4 per person so that our local community can come together, relax and enjoy a weekly film.

Scrooge, A Christmas Carol (1951)

Many critics refer to the 1951 A Christmas Carol, starring Alistair Sim as Scrooge, as "the best of them all" (A.O Scott - NY Times). The story, you know - a bitter old miser refuses to adopt the spirit of the festive season - even on Christmas Eve. However, before Christmas Day arrives, he is haunted by three ghosts, forcing Scrooge to see the humanity he has been blind to, and offering the chance of redemption.
