Retired cop, John ‘Scottie’ Ferguson, is hired by his friend to watch over his wife Madeleine, who he believes is in terrible danger. As Scottie spends more time with the mysterious Madeleine, he begins to fall for her charms, not realising he is part of a deadly game.
