After suffering defeat in the elections, Refugees Eviction Minister Giorgi Mchedlishvili, loses everything that is dear to him: office, car, source of income and most importantly – power. Giorgi’s special chair, which is an alive being, motivates the former Minister to take action, but these do not bring the desired results. In these difficult times Giorgi meets Donara, a refugee woman whom he later marries. The new government orders the eviction of Giorgi and his family from their house. The former Minister first puts himself in confrontation with the media and then with his sister-in-law, Magda…

This is Shengelaia’s first film since 1996, and its sense of humour, satire of bureaucracy and obsession with power, is reminiscent of Blue Mountains. The interesting special effects are all done in Georgia.
