Hitchcock Week

Alfred Hitchcock changed the world of film when he released the original ‘slasher’, Psycho, in 1960. Marion Crane seizes the opportunity to start a new life when she is entrusted with $40,000 in cash. 36 hours after fleeing town she stops at a motel to recuperate, where she meets the friendly but odd proprietor, Norman Bates. The rest is history.

“After half a century of terror, Psycho is still ensuring that no one feels safe in the shower.” – Mark Kermode
