This first ever, feature-length documentary of legendary photographer and filmmaker Robert Frank enters his world in a complex, humorous and unflinchingly honest way. Shot in New York and Nova Scotia where he lives, at age 80 Frank reflects on a lifetime of image making, his richly textured photographs and personal films.

A Q&A with its British director Gerald Fox follows this Grierson Award winner for Best Arts Documentary.
