Soul Jazz Records present: In the Heat of the Night

While travelling in the Deep South, Virgil Tibbs, a black Philadelphia homicide detective, becomes unwittingly embroiled in the murder investigation of a prominent businessman when he is first accused of the crime and then asked to solve it. Norman Jewison’s look at murder and racism in small-town America continues to resonate today.

Back in cinemas around the UK from November 18th, the opening night of this very special re-release will be celebrated with DJs in the bar and an introduction from Soul Jazz Records.
