An old man, his two sons, Bes and Mukha, and Bes’s wife, Zaira live on the bank of a mountain river. The men earn their living by felling trees. When the old man gets incapacitated in an accident, the family asks the youngest brother, who lives in the city, to come and help. But it is not easy for the family to overcome their old feuds and reconcile their differences.
