World Homelessness Day: A Special Charity Screening of The Fisher King: Q&A
Join us for an intimate screening of Terry Gilliam’s 1991 classic The Fisher King as we mark World Homeless Day. This powerful film offers a poignant lens through which to explore themes of social injustice, mental health, and homelessness—issues that remain deeply relevant today.
Following the screening, we’ll be joined by guest speakers from the homelessness charity Crisis and the University of Westminster, who will help us reframe and discuss the film’s enduring social messages. We’re also honoured to welcome Joan and Rhoda who are Crisis Experts by Experience, who will share their personal experiences of homelessness, followed by a Q&A panel discussion.
A portion of all profits from this event will be donated directly to Crisis, helping support individuals as they take their first steps out of homelessness.ComedyPT2H18M152025-10-10
