Short Films - UK Asian Film Festival

UKAFF presents a series of short films centred on South Asian experiences while addressing the 2025 festival theme ‘Longing and Belonging’. They trace stories about people wrestling with feelings of longing for love, home, acceptance, meaning, and the abiding desire to truly belong. Delving into these emotional landscapes, the films in this programme explore identity, self-acceptance, cultural reckoning, and cultural displacement alongside questions of family dynamics and the personal search for ‘home’. The film screening will be followed by a Q/A with visiting talent. Go Back To Your Country Dir. Islah Abdur-Rahman 2025. UK.
