Regent Street Cinema celebrates the arts of India with the launch of its own India Season to coincide with the India Festival at the Victoria and Albert Museum
Joining the V&A in their latest exhibition, The Fabric of India, celebrating South Asian culture and in association with Tongues on Fire, the Regent Street Cinema is hosting a month long celebration of Indian film, starting on 9th November 2015.
Mondays in November will be dedicated to showcasing the phenomenal and far reaching gems produced by the Indian film industry. Screening diverse productions from classic blockbusters to meaningful and thought provoking films.
With any film ticket you can also buy a ticket to the V&A’s Fabric of India exhibition, for the discounted price of £9 (normally £14). Just select the ‘India Season’ option and collect your exhibition ticket on the night.
Rosemary Crill, co-curator of the V&A’s Fabric of India exhibition, will be joined in conversation with Indian fashion designer, Jyoti Chandhok on Monday 9th November following the screening of ‘Throw Of Dice’.
On Monday 16th November, Director and Associate Producer of ‘Tana Bana’ will host a Q&A session before the screening.
